"I visited a lot of trailer sales places, and talked to a lot of horse people. I kept hearing that EquiSpirit trailers were really good and very easy to haul. I logged on the website, checked out the company and called the number provided... In a very short time, Joe Walker phoned me, and we began to talk through the details of the trailer. Joe spent several hours on the phone with me talking through exactly what the problems were with my current trailer, and how EquiSpirit trailers were designed to prevent those problems. He had loads of good advice, and quickly addressed my concerns... He also talked me through all the issues of hauling---was my hitch correct and heavy enough to pull the horses, etc. The result was a trailer exactly like I wanted. I have no problem loading my horses. No more tail rubbing. I feel much more secure hauling in my new trailer. Joe provided the trailer with full length back doors, and a loading ramp. The doors are covered in rubber mats all the way to the window. The butt and chest bars are adjustable to allow for the height differences in the horses. The bars are also very large and thickly padded so my horse cannot lean on the door. In addition, I was able to get additional head room so my horse can move their heads freely, and he isn't pushed back into the back door, like in my first trailer. Needless to say, I an very pleased with my new trailer. It's quite attractive, and Joe did a terrific job of walking me through all aspects of the purchase. He took time to discuss all the features with me, while at the same time, giving me enough information on the options to decide what features would be helpful to me. When the trailer was delivered it was in perfect condition. It arrived right on time, with plenty of communication on when it was going to be delivered, and it was so clean! The driver took as much time as we needed to check it out, and make sure everything was in working order. Then Joe called as a follow-up to make sure everything was just as it had been specified and the delivery met my expectations. A new horse trailer is a very large purchase, and it's important to get what you want and what is safe for both the horses and the haulers. I felt that EquiSpirit certainly met those needs, and specifically Joe Walker was very concerned about meeting the expectations of the customer and ensuring safety for the horses and the hauler. "After doing a lot of research on horse trailers I was drawn to EquiSpirit trailers because of all of the safety features available. As a novice trailer person, I wanted to make sure that I could eliminate a lot of the hazards of trailering. Of course I would still need to learn to pull the trailer, they didn't sell lessons. Ordering the trailer was very easy, Joe Walker was very helpful both on the emails as well as by phone. I received the trailer exactly when they told me it would be ready. "Hi, My trailer was delivered Friday, and I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with it. The basic trailer itself is great, and the options I had added made it even better. The paint matches my truck beautifully, and I'm looking forward to hauling to shows with it. I am particularly happy with the safety features and ease of use -- after all, I found EquiSpirit after spending months doing research into trailer safety following a serious trailer accident. As a Veterinarian, I am also pleased with the features that make this a trailer that is healthy for the horses; the ventilation cannot be beat, and the adjustable chest and butt bars are great for my petite Arabian. Other trailers' chest bars pressed on her trachea when she lowered her head to eat from the hay bag, and I worried about her getting caught under the butt bar if she lost her balance; even more frightening, I worried about not being able to easily get her out if we had such a problem. That won't be an issue in this trailer! Delivery was easy and efficient; the driver answered my questions, even though most of them were pretty basic :) It was great. Ordering was also easy; Joe and Sandy e-mailed me multiple times to answer my questions, and we spoke on the phone a time or two to hash out last minute things -- no problems. "I absolutely LOVE my trailer. I can't go anywhere without someone asking for a tour or commenting on what a nice-looking trailer I have. Just this weekend I did a favor for a friend and moved two of her older retired horses to South Carolina. Neither horse had been on a trailer for at least 15 years, and one of them had only been on a trailer once or twice in her life. Both horses walked on like old pros and tolerated the trip very well. Zack was never a "difficult" loader, but now loading is a breeze whether I am with other people or by myself. And he always arrives at the show/lesson/etc happy and relaxed. "You could pretty much say I am thrilled with the trailer! The people who drove it out (Jerry & Brenda) were very nice and helpful. Jerry had to move (adjust) the hydraulic jack (very cool piece of equipment)... He was a very willing and capable guy. He went through everything we asked of him and more than once if needed. The awning was worth the added wait. It is so nice, and incredibly easy. It's a piece of cake for one person, I think we will be glad for the added feet (extra length) too. The trailer is beautiful, and overall, I couldn't be happier with it. I have had nothing but compliments on the trailer, everyone seems very impressed, including me! You may or may not know how the NV sun bakes here 1 mile up in the air. Again and again I am struck with amazement in way the trailer is able to keep cool. There is minimal shade here and none where I have my horse "Jake" boarded. Going inside the trailer is always a relief from the intensity of the massive blue cloudless sky. "Dear Joe, As you know, it was after extensive research that I found my way to EquiSpirit Trailers. I had been researching and looking at 2 horse gooseneck trailers with dressing rooms for some time. A friend recommended I look at EquiSpirit. I looked at your website and was most impressed with what I saw. I called the home office in North Carolina who was very helpful and referred me to yourself... I was pretty well sold just by what I saw on the website, but after seeing your trailer and all the features, I was ready to place my order. The main selling features for me were: the roominess, the great ventilation provided by large and well-placed windows, the safety catch on the butt bars, the number of features that were standard, and the choices of options, all at a great price. I placed the order, and the trailer was made to order and delivered to me in less than 6 weeks! I LOVE it! It pulls like it isn't there. My horses walk right on and are very relaxed while traveling. "Joe - The trailer is here! It is gorgeous. It exceeds my expectations. Looking at pictures doesn't do it justice. It is so well made, light and airy inside, with plenty of room in the both the stalls and the tack room. The attention to detail is amazing - the rubber stops for all the doors, the latches on the back doors, the lightness and ease of use of the ramp, the storage box in the tack room (that looks like a piece of fine furniture). I can't wait to use it. The gentleman who delivered the trailer was terrific. He called me several times to let me know where he was, showed up when he was supposed to, and was so polite and helpful. He gave me several tips on both the trailer and my truck, based on his own years of experience in trailering. He was very upset that he couldn't stop and wash the trailer before he delivered it (we are in the middle of a bad drought, and most of the car washes around here are closed or on restriction)... Hang onto that delivery company - they are a great advertisement and public relations representative for you.
