Since we just mentioned the roof and roof vents, I wanted to show you the top of the trailer. The roof is white - for a very important reason.... thermal reflection. Never buy a trailer with a dark roof... your horses will have heat radiated on their faces and heads the entire time they are loaded... and they won’t like it (especially in the summer). Also note: a White roof is much cooler than a silver roof - that is why school buses, etc. use white roofs! Try it yourself on a hot sunny summer day... you can burn your hand on a typical aluminum surface, where the white fiberglass stays cool. |
