What is the difference between a really great trailer and
one that your horse hates? If your equine passenger could talk our
language, he/she would tell you they need:
 | Plenty of room for their body length, legs (for bracing), head & neck
(for
height and balance)... |
 |
Light, bright and non-threatening interior... |
 |
Good ventilation for both summer and winter... |
 |
Inviting to enter, without latches, hooks, springs,
posts, doors, etc. in the way... |
 |
Safe and easy to exit, without fear of falling... |
 |
Quiet to ride in - well insulated from vibration, sound,
and temperature (especially summer heat)... |
 |
Safe to ride in - no protruding hooks, pins, etc.
to get cut on... |
 |
Visibility to the front and sides, but not the rear
- where big scary things (like trucks) are approaching... |
 |
A padded interior to help protect against injury from
the bumps and jolts of the road... |
 |
A clean atmosphere without insects, blowing sand, dust and hay
flying in their eyes... |
 |
A trailer strong enough to withstand a minor
accident while protecting the passengers... |
 |
A trailer that each and every horse can be
individually attended to, and/or off-loaded... |
Standard EquiSpirit trailers are
90" (7'-6") tall and 72" (6') wide, interior usable
dimensions - large enough for horses up to 17.2-hands. These are real
measurements that your horse can use, not fancy marketing double-speak.
For larger horses or those wanting more room, XL and XXL options are available
(see product specifications).
EquiSpirit trailers come standard with
full-width, spring-loaded, non-slip ramps. Our ramps are strong enough for
the heaviest horse and yet can be operated by the most petite person (no need for
musclemen here). Trailers with ramps having the correct (shallow) angle and strength
are infinitely better than step-up / fall-down models. (We also
offer a non-ramp option for customers with special applications.) Each
horse in an EquiSpirit can be individually off-loaded (or attended to)
without needing to move another horse first!
